The things people ask us first.
Yes. Scanning, searching and submitting prices are free, with a monthly scan allowance. If you scan all day for work, premium removes the cap — same data either way.
From shoppers and traders, with a photo of the shelf tag or receipt attached. Roadside stalls and market shops have no website to check, so the people in the market are the source.
Three things. The photo has to back the price, prices far from everyone else's get held back, and each contributor carries a trust score built from how often they have been right. A brand new account with a wild price simply doesn't count.
No cash. You earn points, trust, badges and a place on the leaderboard. Prediction markets run on those same points — there is no money in and no money out.
Every price shows when it was last seen and how sure we are. Older submissions count for less, so a price nobody has confirmed this week will show lower confidence instead of pretending to be current.
